I have a HTC S620. I have downloaded and installed AgendaOne into main memory. The calendar portion of the program works properly, however, the contacts does not. I have had the following problems:

1. The contact portion of the program takes approximately 18 seconds to to load when picked from the chooser.

2. If I type text to intiate a search, the program again takes a very long time to find the results. When it does, the results are wrong. For example, I type blac to look up a person with teh last name of black. After about ten seconds, the program returns a No Matching Contacts Found, Press back to clear search. When I press back, then some names come up that begib with BL. Again, however, this takes a very long time.

Otherwise this appears to be a great program, but until the contact section works properly, I could not purchase it.

Thank you for the report, would you be able to send us a support e-mail from your device? This would help us better reproduce the latency/search results issue you are reporting. In your e-mail, please also indicate that your forum name is "jmd". From the About Screen, (Options > View All Options > About Agenda One) you can select Menu > Contact support and you will be prompted to select your e-mail client. This email is pre-filled with many details that will help us replicate your issue and understand your configuration. This includes device model, memory, number of items you have in your outlook database, etc.
You will also notice that an agendaone.dat file is automatically attached. This file contains your Agenda One option settings. With this we can easily reproduce your exact Agenda One setup to more quickly answer your questions or solve your problems. (we will put your settings file on a similar device so that we are working with the same settings you have.)

This file contains only options settings, and does not contain data such as contacts, tasks or calendar items.

If you do not want to send this attachment it may be deleted. For the fastest response to your inquiries, we urge that you leave this file included.

The faster we can confirm an issue, the quicker we can schedule the necessary updates.

Update/Fix for T-Mobile Dash / HTC S620 / O2 Cosmo

Thank you for your feedback and reporting the issues in regards to the T-Mobile Dash and similar devices.

We have a new update (1.0.3139) which addresses:

- Contact view sorting issue
- Contact view keyboard handling

We experienced something unique on the T-Mobile Dash that was causing the contacts list to not sort your contacts properly.
This has been addressed and is working fine in our testing.

The T-Mobile Dash also exhibits some different keyboard behavior than other Smartphones with keyboards (i.e. the Motorola Q (http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=80046#), Samsung i-320). We isolated those differences and the keyboard searching functionality from the Contacts view is now working as expected.

Thank for you patience.

If you are a registered user, you may also apply this update directly from your Smartphone!

- Go to the About Screen in Agenda One (Menu > Options > All Options > About)
- Select Menu > Check for Updates

For those still running the trial version or who prefer to update from the desktop the latest download is also available at http://www.developerone.com/agendaone/download.htm (http://www.developerone.com/agendaone/download.htm)

I installed the new version and the program still runs slowly in regards searching -- especially as compared to the built in contact application.

Also, my company uses Intellisync Email Express to Sync our email. So I do not have an activesync or exchange server profile set up. Because of this, whne I choose to send an email from the contact detail screen, I am presented with the screen to set up outlook email. Is there anyway to have a parameter to set to email service to activesync using the same shortcut as the jogger button.

Agenda One's search is also more complete than the built in Contacts as we search all phone numbers and e-mail addresses, not just the default one's. We also give you the ability to search three additional optional fields.

We rely on the built in Contact Preview Screen to display your Contact details. This should operate the same way as if you were using the built in Contact application to send an e-mail. If this is behaving differently for you please let us know.

You are correct about the email. I have the same problem in the regular contact application. However, there is still a pretty good lag when backspacing out of searchs.

That is some good feedback on the Contacts Search. We still search on the backspace in case something is mistyped, it would be a pain to have to re enter everything. We are considering a menu option that lets you clear the search completely.
