Is there a way to setup a defalt appointment duration that you could overide. ie most of my appoitments are 1 hr so if I start at 9am i would like the end time to defalt to 10 am.
Also is there a way to change or edit the drop down subject and location menu items?

There is not a setting for default appointment time. You can add items to your Subject, Location and Category lists by entering the desired value and then select Menu - Add to subject list, or Menu - Add to location list or from the Category field select Menu - New Category.
