Hi,

If I click and hold the centre button on an item (for example an appointment) and then select the option I want, it will carry out the action but then show me the same menu for the next appointment or task.

In the task view, I have tasks sorted in ascending order by date. This displays undated tasks at the top. I often have on-going tasks which are not urgent set without any due date and I need to scroll through all of these to get to the important and urgent dated and overdue tasks. Is this normal or is there a way to move these to the bottom?

The timelines in the month view don't really give much info away, I don't quite understand them. It would be good if they filled up more like the long ones do at the top of the today and agenda view.

Finally, the only thing I really don't like is the appointment/task entry screen. I assume it has been implemented as a list to keep it simple and easy to navigate but I (and this is my personal opinion so please don't be offended) feel that it actually makes it harder to read (at a glance) than a page that has some layout to start/end dates, priorities, categories etc. I hate to say it but this is putting me off purchasing, I'd be interested to know if it's just me or if other people feel the same?

Otherwise, this looks like a fabulous piece of software in the making. I just bought a Treo 750v and I love the simplicity of this app.

Oh yes, I'd love you to add is a Stephen Covey priority thingy. (The box with four squares: Urgent & Important, Important & not urgent, etc). I use this system a lot after having read his book! However, don't add too much, I think the beauty of this is it's simplicity.

Thanks,

Phillip

Hi,
Finally, the only thing I really don't like is the appointment/task entry screen. ... I'd be interested to know if it's just me or if other people feel the same?I feel exactly the same. It's like all the functionality is there, only the GUI hasn't been implemented yet...

A little bit too MS DOS in my eyes, if you see what I mean.

Thank you so much for the suggestions, the developers will review the details and consider them for future changes to Agenda One. -- One suggestion about the Task View, when you change the order to 'descending', that will be part of that solution to put your undated tasks at the bottom of the list.

Just a couple more comments, hope you don't think I'm being negative.

I'm getting used to the simple appointment/task entry screen, I'm kinda beginning to like it's simplicity. However, I have a couple of comments about it:

It would be great if when you create a completely new task/appointment it jumped straight to the subject text entry section to save an extra click.

It is a real pain that I have to use the up/down arrows to change times, I really want to be able to type OR use the up/down arrows.

To create a new Task or Appointment or my Treo 750, I need to click the 'Menu' key then press 'N' for Appointment or 'E' for Task. The 'N' is logical but what about using 'A' and 'T', in fact it would be really useful if pressing 'A' or 'T' at any point would creat a New Appointment/Task.

Descending the task does move the undated tasks to the bottom but then sorts all the priorities upside down (High priority at the bottom).

Also, tasks not sorted acording to the rules set under tasks in 'Today' mode. (At least it isn't sorting by priority which is the third item I have set it up to sort buy)

Hope this is useful feedback,

Phillip

I personally like the appointments and task entry screens. They are very easy to use for my purposes.

I do like the idea of having jumping right to the subject entry screen when you select new task or new appointment. It saves a click and is more natural.

Ahaa, I just discovered that if simply start typing it automatically moves you to the text entry screen. Please ignore quoted comment above, that bit works perfectly!

Hi,

I have just discovered that this can already be set in 'Calendar Settings' >>> 'Calendar Task Sorting'

Only posting this incase anyone else was having this problem.
