View Full Version : Multiple items from same category showing only one time in month view.

I have 2 items assigned to the same category. And the category is assigned with an icon. In the "Month" view, only one icon is being shown even when I had selected "Cateorgy Icons" in Details.

Please soft reset your device and then check to be sure that the setting is not "Category Icons grouped".

I have Samsung sch-i760 WM6 device.

I have hard reset, not chosen grouped icons, and still only one icon per catagory shows.

Is there something I'm missing?

I have just run into this issue. Previously, I have been using A1 on my HTC Touch, with the month view set to view category icons and not group them. This worked perfectly, with 1 icon per categorized event regardless of whether it was a duplicate category.

I just got a HTC Touch Cruise and downloaded & installed the current version. I changed the settings to show icons, don't group them -- but I only get 1 icon now on days when there are multiple appointments in the same category.

How can I get this working on my Touch Cruise?! Is there a registry setting to check or something????

We have not heard this from any other user and no, there is no registry setting at issue.

Soft reset the device and see if it needs to be refreshed and let us know if that clears it.

Apparently the issue previously thought to be addressed is creeping back up, at least for me.

No, a reset did not clear things up.

I figured out what was wrong -- very strange.

The version I downloaded and installed from the product page was not the current build? I ran the auto-update feature in the 'about' screen and discovered a new version from May was available. I installed that one, and now the category icons are working correctly.
