Sound when entering a secondary menu

This is not a bug, but a request for imformation. A Ding sound occurs when entering a secondary menu, like for instance, the More menu item on the Menu list. It is out of place and is very annoying. I was hoping someone could tell me how to disable this sound. Possibly through the registry, or something similar. It should use the MenuSel.wav or MenuPop.wav files, but it is using the Default.wav (Ding).

Hi, we've seen this with other applications as well and believe that's just how the operating system is handling it when opening the secondary level of the menus.

We've double-checked our code and have ruled out that we're causing the 'sound effects'.
