What a difference this build makes to the Contacts feature! I had turned it off and returned to the native Contracts application due to the speed issues with my rather large address book.

Now I can return to using Agenda One Contacts again. This is great!

Any chance y'all can fix the event notes display truncation problem? That and appointment duplication would make me one very happy camper!

Keep up the great work! Y'all rock!

Regards,
Rob

Dear Alex
I downloaded the latest new version.
1. Clear search is working only when I leave Contacts view and go Calendar: when I go back really contact view search is clear, but when I search contact and after then I make call and after then I go back I see searched contacts and I must clear manually. I think should be better to clear search after going back from calling function. Phone is FS Loox T830.
2. Changing phone nr with arrow key is working only when I go on contact directly. When I search some contact and I go on it is not possible to change second phone nr. only what is default. I must go in contact details and in details I can use another phone nr. In default Contacts you can choose another phone nr. pressing left or right arrow key.
3. In Hungary many people has the same last name. I have in my contacts 25 Horváth names. Should be very useful to search putting first letter of first name and first letter of last name. Horváth Zsuzsa I should find tap H letter and after then Z. In my Palm Treo 650 was this function very very useful. 4.Do you plan to have incomming call function? To show who is calling by Agenda One. Like AdressBook.

I am sure you will have a very very useful program after resolving this small problems.
With best regards

Alex,

Thank you Developer One very much for this release! With these enhancements, I am once again using Agenda One as my default contacts manager.

I do have a couple of further requests:

1. On my Cingular 3125, only the right Nav key works to scroll through available numbers for a given contact. Not being able to use the left key to go backwards is a pain when you accidentally pass the number you are looking for.

2. Filters: Love the fact that Agenda One will keep a selected filter in place. This is especially important since ActiveSync does not allow you to specify which categories you want to sync in the first place.

It would be great if the filter menu displayed the most recently used filter(s) in addition to All Contacts at the top of the menu (not sure how valuable the No Categories selection is but that is another topic). Here is my dilemma: I have a category called MobileSync for all contacts that I want on my phone. ActiveSync disregards categories and syncs the whole contacts list over. Agenda One does allow me to set the filter to MobileSync but because of the number of categories I have, I have to press Menu, Filter, More, then scroll all the way down the MobileSync in order to select it.

I realize that I can rename MobileSync to move it to the top of the list on the Filters menu, and perhaps I will, but it seems the software should adapt to the user and not vice versa. Again, if the Filters menu displayed the last selected filter (or two or three) that would be fantastic.

3. If I search to a contact, then dial a number, then hangup, then press the end key again, I am returned to the home screen. That is fine. But when I press the Contacts soft key to go back to my contacts list, I am returned to the last contact that I scrolled to. This doesn't make sense to me. It should either return me to the top of the contacts list or back to the last contact I called, not to where I left off scrolling.

I'm sure I'll have more to report later, but great work on this new release! It resolves many of the frustrations I was having with the product.

If you you are "switching to" or using the Back Key to get to the Contacts View the search will not clear. If you are restarting the Contact View with the View Picker or with the Contacts soft key the search should be cleared.

I must go in contact details and in details I can use another phone nr. In default Contacts you can choose another phone nr. pressing left or right arrow key.
This should be resolved with 1.0.3581 29 Nov 2006, but we only allow navigation with the right arrow, not the left.

Thank you for the suggestion.

This is not currently planned. But I will share your suggestion with the Developers.

Search is clearing properly for me however when I go to contacts with the softkey and start to type and filter to a contact, the right arrow key does not flip through the alternate numbers. Only the default/last number I dialed for that person is available.

1) This is by design, right now we are reserving Left Navigate.

2) This is a nice idea, but it may be difficult to implement.

3) In the Latest build, (1.0.3581 - 29 Nov 2006) Contacts soft key should always clear the Contacts search.

As for item 3, I am running the lastest build. The behavior I described continues to be true.

1. Use Down key to navigate to any contact in your list.
2. Press number keys to invoke a search for a new contact.
3. Press Send to dial that contacts number.
4. Press End to end the call.
5. Press End to return to Home Screen
6. Press Contacts soft key
7. Contact selected is the one from step 1. At this point, shouldn't the list be reset to the top, or at least to the last contact dialed? I think it should be reset so that the first contact is displayed.

Alex,

After I upgrade to new build 3555, I started to have problems with the VoiceSignal.exe program, now I can not use speech recognition in my MOTO Q smartphone. As soon as I uninstall Agenda One, problem is fixed. Reinstalling Agenda One do not fix the problem. Today I install new build 1.00.3581. The MOTO Q is original only software installed are Agenda One and CodeWallet Pro 6, both are in trial period (4 days left). Let me know is I can give you any information to help you fix the problem. Next week I will buy Agenda One is a very good and useful program. Congratulations.

Thanks,
Eduardo

OK, the search does clear, but the focus is not on the first contact. We were able to reproduce this, and I have reported it to the Development Team.

This is not something that we can reproduce. Voice Recognition works great on both Q's that we have here with Agenda One version 1.0.3581 - 29 Nov 2006.
