View Full Version : Problem with Fusion via Spb Pocket Diary

My previous post does not appear to have saved, so this is a second attempt.

I have an issue running Agenda fusion and Spb Pocket diary.

I like to have Agenda fusion running all the time, this is to save startup delay when I want to view/create/edit any items in Fusion.

My problem is that if I instigate a view/create/edit of an item from within Pocket Diary, I get taken to Fusion, which is great. However, once I commit my changes or cancel my viewing of an item, i'm returned to Pocket Diary, BUT Fusion is terminated.

If I view/create/edit an item by going straight to Fusion (not via Pocket Diary), then Fusion stays running in the background when I commit/cancel, just as I would expect.

I've reported this to Spb, and they have responded saying thay they think this is an issue with Fusion as they do not have any further interaction with Fusion once they have initiated the call to Fusion with the relevant event.

Is there some config I can change to stop this or is it a bug?

For info, I have the 'General/Enable exit button' set to 'No' but I've also tried 'Yes' with the same result. I'm running WM 5 on a T-Mobile Vario II (HTC TyTn), Fusion version 8.08, Pocket diary version 2.2.1. I'm also running Spb pocket Plus with agendafusion.exe specified as an 'exclusion' for the close button.

Any help gratefully received.

Regards,

Glenn

I unfortunately am unable to duplicate your problem. However, I do not believe that it is an AF problem, but rather a Diary issue. I use Pocket Breeze and it has an option to "leave AF running when opening an item". I would go bak to SPB with your issue.

tarheel810,

Thanks for your response. This is the sort of info I am looking for.

I have responded to Spb (I feel a little like 'piggy in the middle' but if it gets the issue sorted it will be worth it). They say they get the same issue with Pocket Breeze, BUT, they omited the vital option you seem to have discovered ("leave AF running when opening an item"). I've asked them to revisit the issue. Let's hope they discover the solution.

Many thanks for your response.

Regards,

Glenn
