Is there any way to replace the MS calendar app, so that shortcuts go to power calendar views ?

For example :

When pressed the calendar plugin opens Power calendar.

During a call, the shortcut "calendar" opens power calendar.

For a Pocket PC, it can be done. But for a smartphone ?

Then we would never have to have our eyes blighted by the dreadful Microsoft application:D

Hi - it is not possible at this time, limitation of the operating system. That is being upgraded and the developers are looking into the ability to create the option or link to allow this if possible.

There is a new calendar app available that when installed, and you select the Today plugin for the MS Calendar app, it calls the third party's calendar app.

This is a very important feature, since it allows full use of Power Calendar's features. Please consider this a priority for the next version.

Thanks!
Rob.

But this doesn't change anything.
This registry tweak replaces the complete MS calendar. But Power Calender has no weekly/monthly overview like the competitor calendar, so you would loose lots of functions the normal calendar gives you.

I too would like to see Power Calendar *replace* the built-in calendar app on my SmartPhone. So when you click on the next appointment item at the home screen, it takes you to Power Calender etc. Agenda Fusion has done this for ages.

Also I saw a post about removing the built-in calender altogether - not for me guys! As the post says, the built-in calender has Month view, which I have to use cos Power Calender doesn't support it.

Hey DeveloperOne guys, let go of Agenda Fusion for a while and please get going on the next release of Power Calendar! Now that these SmartPhones are getting better there's more users out there who could use a decent calender app......

There is already a calendar that fits all your needs, but it is not developed by DeveloperOne ;-)
