I just passed mi Samsung i600 under WM6 and now I don't have access to all my contacts when searching!!! For exemple, my nama is Lepeudry, from the home screen I go to contacts (agenda One contacts set as default), type "l" and have a list of names beginning by "l" then "e" and I have nothing beginning by "le", it says: no contacts selected touch "back" to cancel the search. When using the standard contact list, I find a lot of names beginning whith "le".
Any idea?
Thanks

I have had similar issues with the contact searching. Usually when the last name is not coming up on the screen, try typing in the first name. For some reason it will only pick up the first name sometimes. I would like to find out how to fix this as well.

I'm using french on the device and french for agenda One.
Thanks Did you use the official French download from this page
http://www.samsungmobile.com/promotion/i600/index.jsp
or did you use a download from a different country and then change the Windows Mobile OS language to French after installation?

mcd - what exact device are you using? is it WM6 or upgraded to WM6? What is the native language of the device? Are you using that native language or have you changed it? What language of Agenda One are you using on the device? Thank you for clarification.

Thank you pml, we already have this information from you. That reply was quoted from the post by "mcd" and that post was directed only to "mcd". We want to see if possibly that person "mcd" has the same or different device/language etc. as yourself.

ThanksIt sounds like Samsung may have changed the keyboard mapping for the WM6 version of the i600 ROM. When the original WM5 US Samsung BlackJack came out we had to do some custom logic for the keyboard. We will try to get ahold of the keyboard mapping file from one of these upgrades to see what may have changed.

We have not been able to duplicate the problem, so there will only be a solution when we are able to determine what is happening. Thank you for your patience.

So I trying to describe the problem a bit more in debth:
If I use only the border letters (not combined with a number) everything is fine, it searches by letters and I have all the names coming.
If I use only the central letters (the ones in litle squares) it search by numbers even if I tape the key without a number from the same square (for exemple if I touch "e" it will search "1" then if I touch "r" it will search "11" or if I touch "e" then "y" it will search "12".
The problem is when I touch first a central letter and then a border one or first a border one and then a central one it gives me a blank window with the sentence "no contact selectected, touch back to cancel your search".
It seams the central letters are linked by 2 and only refering to the number when the border ones are only refering to letters so it can't find any combination of a letter and a number!!
I verified that by creating a new contact first name: A1; name: P2
AO finds it if I touch: "a1" or "ar" or "p2" or "py"
I hope this can help you solving it
Thanks

I'm trialling Agenda One (1.5.5693) on new Palm Treo 500v (WM6). I'm experiencing this same problem with contacts search - irrespective of text input setting (last used or Abc/multipress) keys with numbers always enter numbers rather than the text e.g. 3 rather than T/t. So "no matching contacts" results unless the names uses only alphabet or symbol. Thanks in advance

Hello,
I also have a keyboard mapping problem with my FRENCH HTC S620 under WM6 official version and the latest version of agenda one.
When typing * (also W) no name starting with W is returned.
When typing Q (also #) 'A' is searched instead.
Thanks for support
