We're currently testing a new feature of Power Calendar that lets you not only Email any task or appointment, but to also send a VCAL attachment to send all of the appointment information to anyone.
Many Email/PIM clients like Microsoft Outlook can accept these attachments to let you automatically add the item to your schedule.
When the beta is released, a link to the download and information on the features included will be posted here.
Thank you.

Now that we have resolved the nagging issue with Power Calendar closing abruptly (Version 2.60 update), we'll be working hard to get the beta out soon with the promised Month view.
Thank you for your patience,

I would like to beta-test new versions.
I have a Moto MPX200. This phone was sold recently at a very cheap rate in a german supermarket, therefore we have lots of new MPX200 users out there.
I want to make sure that Power Calendar is running bugfree on these phones ;-)

... because I really would like to see Power Calendar change my life by organising it like no other program can.
I am specifically interested in customized icons in the views and a homescreen plugin that can show multiple upcoming appointments (scrolling?) and tasks in a user specifiable period, say 2 weeks.
I have a T-mobile SDA (typhoon like) phone.

I'm on the beta list for months. I even mailed the guys (and girls) from DeveloperOne. Did someone already received information about betatesting?

ps Because of the "slowlyness" of DeveloperOne, I peeked at Papyrus from SBSH. I can't lie about it: it looks good and I'm impressed. I wonder if DeveloperOne can do an even better job !

ps Because of the "slowlyness" of DeveloperOne, I peeked at Papyrus from SBSH (http://www.sbsh.net). I can't lie about it: it looks good and I'm impressed. I wonder if DeveloperOne can do an even better job ! I had a go with this software and it looks great. There are, however, 2 annoyances. You cannot create tasks or show tasks in the application. Also, it does not replace the built in MS app, (I know power calendar doen't do this either). If it has task support, I would jump straight on board with papyrus. Come on Developer One, lets see some action with Power Calendar!
Actually, Papyrus does work with the homescreen plugins! Click on a calendar item and it will take you straight to the appropriate date in papyrus. Even more reason for Developer One to bring their talents to bear on Power Calendar!!

well, the latest version of Papyrus does have full task support... it seems the ideal product.
Can't help feeling as though Developer One have missed out on Smartphone Calendar/Task applications.:(

Can't help feeling as though Developer One have missed out on Smartphone Calendar/Task applications.:( Yeah, I'm going to have to give it a try too, since it looks like DeveloperOne has all but abandoned this product.
It's a shame since I had the opportunity to get a warez version of PowerCalendar, but I opted to buy it to support development...I'm starting to wonder if it was a mistake now since they haven't updated the program since 2004!
Wake up D1...other vendors are going to ace you out of the very market you created!!

While we've been a bit delayed in getting out the next update, we've been working hard to both optimize better for Windows Mobile 5, and bring those most requested features to the application.
I'm confident that in the end you'll find the next rev to far exceed your expectations.

I hope so, because I'm currently using Papyrus and I'm really impressed. As a registered PowerCalendar user, I obviously have an investment in the s/w but unless the feature set can exceed Papyrus (and a home screen plugin that brings you to the date displayed when you click on it would be a HUGE selling point for me), then I'm going to have to think it over.
I'm on the beta list (for whatever that's worth) so I'm standing by, waiting to be impressed! :p

I just upgraded to an Orange SPV C600, running Windows Mobile 5. And I'm dismayed to find that the existing version of Power Calendar won't run on it!
If there are any beta builds of Power Calendar available for Windows Mobile 5, I'd be happy to sign up as a beta tester and give feedback on performance etc.
Cheers,

Work is still under way on a new Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone Calendar application. While we have been working on completing the port of Power Calendar to Windows Mobile 5, we have decided to make some further efforts to not only make this application compatible with Windows Mobile 5 Smartphones, but to truly make it the best it can be on this platform.
We will keep you all in mind for our beta tester list once we are ready.

Yes please - count me in.
I am using windows mobile 5.0 (latest version) on a TMOBILE MDA (same as I-Mate Jamin I think)
Have used Power calendar since 2004 and its much better on a phone than Win Mobile Outlook. When compatability with WinMobile v5.0 is available, it will certainly be my first port of call!
