deleting tasks or appointments

Is there anyway i can automatically delete an expired task or appointment, especially if its a recurring task or appointment i.e. i had a recurring task set up for every 2 weeks on friday, today when i marked it as complete i was hoping that as it created the next task on the system, which it did fine, that it would also erase the task i had just set as complete. Unfortunately it didnt, so is there anyway i can do this?

If you wish to remove all completed tasks you can set the ActiveSync settings to synchronize only active tasks. As you complete tasks on the PPC they will be removed from your device but still available in Outlook on your Desktop PC. One note though, when completing tasks in Outlook with the "sync only active tasks" seems to cause ActiveSync to not update the status of the task on the PPC.

We do have in our Tools - Manage Menu an menu selection to remove all completed tasks. You have to run this manually so it is not quite a fully automated solution.
