Default How can I launch Power Tasks from the home screen?

Question: How can I launch Power Tasks from the home screen? I would rather not always have to go to the Start->Programs menu to launch it.

Response: Beginning with Power Tasks Version 1.95, you may now add a permanant icon for Power Tasks in the Start bar on the home page of your Smartphone. Go to Menu->Settings->Options. Check the "Add Start bar shortcut" option. The next time you power your Smartphone off/on, the icon for Power Tasks will be in the icons list in the application bar on your home screen.

I am using windows mobile software 2002 at this time.

You said, Beginning with Power Tasks Version 1.95, you may now add a permanant icon for Power Tasks in the Start bar (I don not have a start bar) on the home page of your Smartphone. Go to Menu->Settings->Options. Check the "Add Start bar shortcut" option.(I did this) The next time you power your Smartphone off/on,(I did this) the icon for Power Tasks will be in the icons list in the application bar on your home screen.(I do not understand this at all).

Thanks, Bob

This will depend on which home screen components you have currently loaded in your home theme on your Smartphone.

If you currently have an icon bar which typically contains icons for Pocket Internet Explorer, Calendar, and last used applications, the selection of this option in Power Tasks or Power Calendar would permananently add the respective icon to that application icon bar. (i.e. the icon would still be there after a power cycle of your phone.)

This does work on Windows Mobile Smartphone 2002 or 2003, but if you do not have this icon bar shown, the icon won't appear.

This won't be so much an issue once we have the home screen plug-in piece available.

Default expensive works around

I think the item your all refering to is the MRU the annoying icon bar at the top that no one uses cos its sh** i my self went the expensive route i bought arivals to do list added there homescreen plug in( tired of waiting for the plugion from you guys sorry) and now i can see my task on homescreen edit them using the rival programme that is launched from the homescreen however power task as abetter interface for inputting new tasks so i use that to add new tasks but i have to go the long way in so please hurry with the plug in guys befor i start recomending the rival to people.oh on a plus note the rival plug in wotks with power tasks to a degree in that it show task on the home page but opens the default task manager when pressed with an annoying splash screen telling you that their programme is not installed on the phone i have tried to edit the plug in to get it to launch power tasks but i is rubbish and could not do it sorry.
