Are you sure that you have ActiveSync set up to record 'latest changes'. It may be good to check all the desktop ActiveSync settings to be sure your changes are getting to the device. Are some of these old recurring items where you may have deleted or moved only one occurence? If you continue to have trouble, please provide a specific example of an item you delete or change in Outlook that does not change in AF once you sync. Details so specific that we can duplicate what you are experiencing so that we can further assist you. Thank you. One other suggestion, soft reset your device before you connect it to your desktop PC.

CodeWallet Pro 2006 on my desktop PC and on my handheld (QTek 9100). Whenever I try to synchronize my PC and handheld I get the message that the synchronization directory cannot be opened due to the fact a Code wallet file has been opened. However I've made sure that all are closed. Can you help me to succesfully synchronize? Thanks.

Jack,

It sounds like you have your wallet in the ActiveSync My Documents folder. If you move your wallet to a different folder and change your sync path the problem should be resolved. You can do this manually or run the sync utility. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

Default How Can I Make AF The Default PIM?

I'm comparing your product to PI, and AF beats PI in being easier to use and faster to load. But how can I make AF the default PIM on my i-mate JAMin, so that pressing the Calendar and Contacts soft keys link directly to the relevant AF views?

Thank you for trying Agenda Fusion,
You will be changing the setting for this, Please follow these steps:
  • Open Agenda Fusion.
  • Tap on the Agenda Fusion icon located in the bottom tool bar next to New.
  • Tap on Options from the menu - a new window will open
  • From the dropdown list you will want to scroll down and tap on Global
  • From here find the setting "Use Pocket Outlook Links (Pocket PC 2002/2003)." or “Use Outlook Mobile Links (WM5)” to "Yes". You will be prompted to do a soft-reset.
Shortcuts to Pocket Outlook views will now go to the appropriate Agenda Fusion view.

Default Items not sync-ing from device

When I add a calendar item on my device (Cingular 8125) it doesn't sync to my desktop. Any ideas? I am using Activesync 4.2.

Thanks!

Is ActiveSync on your desktop set to share information both to/from the desktop/device and not just sending data in one direction? Do you have 'Calendar' listed in the sync settings of ActiveSync on your desktop to include calendar items in the sync?

The calendar is listed to include calendar items in the sync. How do I check the sharing to/from desktop/device? I can't seem to find it. . .

Thanks!

Our apology, you have a WM5 device with a newer version of ActiveSync, that setting is no longer available. You will find more sync information on the www.pocketpc.com or http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/act...tshoot-as4x.htm website.
