Default Blackjack tasks missing extended info

I have a samsung blackjack. When I create a task in outlook the subject information will sync to the phone but the extened information will not. I have called samsung and they say that this is a issue with active sync and outlook and windows mobile. Can you help me confirm this? I did not agree with some other things that the cust support person said. I think they just tried to get me off of the phone.

I am using your trial version of AgendaOne.

Thanks

Not knowing exactly what you mean by "extended information" , Yes, the explanation you got is correct. ActiveSync does not carry all the desktop details to the device, not all fields of information will be sent to the device. If you can be more specific about the data that you are looking for on the device that does not seem to be syncing, we can clarify this.

The extended information is the note section of tasks. I refrained from saying this because this may get confused with the normal notes in outlook that does not sync without a thrid party application. Thank you for the response and I hope this it up.

The extended information that I am refering to is the note section of the task. I wanted to call it extended information because everyone I talk to gets it confused with notes. I know that without a third party application the note section will not sync. My problem is that the note section(or area) of any task does not get transfered from the PC to the blackjack. If I input the information on the blackjack then it will sync to the PC...

The notes will sync both to/from the desktop/device with the correct set-up. For example, Microsoft states that if you are using ActiveSync version 4.5, and Outlook 2000 on the desktop, Notes will not sync. In that case if you simply go back to ActiveSync version 4.2 OR upgrade to Outlook 2003, the Notes will sync both ways. This is not something that Agenda One or any other program can fix, it is an ActiveSync, Outlook issue. You can find more information on the Microsoft website, www.pocketpc.com

I am not sure but we may be talking about different things. I am not talking about notes. I am talking about the note that is attached to a task. For example if I create a task called "take out trash" I may want to add more information. I would put this in the note area that is still part of the task. This note is not syncing to the blackjack if I input it from the PC.

I am sure that I found the problem. I had to remove activesync and reinstall. Now everything works like I would expect. Thank you for your help.
